I am attempting to make the site easier to find your way around, and to get to know who's who.
I started doing yearly/daily rounds at livejournal, so the first 12 years/days are linked there, in a totally different format.
It was at around year 13that I decided to change the whole format, I figured the town was still young, so why not?
But if it's still confusing, I apologize. I'm working on that! :)

This is not really sims related, although my son and I did use the sims 2 game for the pictures in his story. He wrote this a few years ago and just recently began asking to share it again. It's been on my simpage and my livejournal, but just thought I'd post a link here too, since he asked so nicely. :) He gets a kick out of all the nice comments people leave, it makes him smile. He's autistic, and he wrote a little story to try to explain things to people who kept asking...

Fatty has decided being a "Thug" just isn't excitement enough. She takes up fishing, and she's pretty good at it, actually.

Her new BFF Whoozie Whazzit is far better, though! She got double the skills in the same amount of time.

So, since it's Fatty's dream to lead the criminals in town, she has been working out like crazy. Literally!

Here she is in her formal wear, jogging around the neighborhood, hehe.

My boring, vanilla self sim is, well, boring. She's cute though, if I do say so myself! LOL

Whoozie has the most masculine voice, but she still likes to pose pretty and try to look coquettish.

Which annoys Fatty, apparently...

And that annoys my self sim, who realizes most of the sim players are too young to know who Boy George is! Google him! ;)

I didn't know there was a park in the neighborhood already full of fresh food. Very cool. And pretty too!

No worries though! It's just Whoozie, impersonating The Law.

Which annoys the heck out of Fatty, along with everything else. She's not even supposed to be evil! She just acts like it naturally, I guess!

More Sims 3 Pics (with Fatty McGee)

Ok, this totally freaked me out. But Fatty was not an insane mother, just a crazy aunt. Phew.

Later that day she's spotted ambling about town in her undies, talking to herself and making funny faces. Good stuff.

Since I wanted to see what the McGee girls would do when I was away, I created Whoozie Whazzit to mess with for a week or so. Maybe longer, I don't remember.

She quickly becomes best friends with Real, and they hang out at this little Bistro a lot. I make them eat outside, so I can see them. Plus, the scenery is awesome.

This is Whoozie up close. She is working her way up the Law Enforcement career, I'm just waiting for her to apprehend Fatty one of these days. She's questioned her once, and is working on a report, hehe.

Fatty has a birthday party, and burns the house down. I'm not surprised, are you?

Her sister Real, and Whoozie sure know how to throw a party. Heh, I do the same thing at my sister's birthday parties. Madden 09 seems to be the game they're playing, just like me!

Real's sad losing face isn't as pathetic as mine though. Heh, mine is not pretty, I assure you. I hate to lose. Doesn't everybody? I live with 5 guys, I'm not gonna win at football, you'd think I'd be used to it by now...

So, Real's baby girl grows up, and she's neglected, sitting in her own filth while her mother plays video games. What kind of mother would do that? Oh, never mind...

She has a son, too, did I mention that? Who's the daddy, you ask? I dunno. They're scheduled to go on the Maury Povich show next week. Stay tuned!

Fatty tries to kill herself fixing random televisions for cash. Guess the criminal business isn't very lucrative these days, I dunno.

So, Fatty keeps working out like a fiend at the gym, and eventually gets fit, which annoys me. She's just not the same! I repeatedly sent her to the fridge to eat the leftover birthday cake, and she's chunking back out nicely.

Just a random pic of a sim named, aptly, "Boy Friend". He was an experiment for my self sim until some lovely person at the Sims3Challenges yahoo group told me *squee* Don Lothario was living in the new 'hood, so of course Real dumped Boy and quickly went after Don. Unfortunately, after one romantic evening with him he hasn't been back, but has a couple of school aged children, mother unknown. He considers Real an "old friend", not a love interest. Typical.
Also, I'm just joking about my kids rolling in their own filth! Honestly, the youngest is 8, if he's filthy it's his own fault, not mine. :P

The Sims 3 Pics

I know I posted a few of these yesterday, but I really wanted to compare them. The one above has a little bit of editing done, I only use gimp and don't really know how to do much, I screened it, and sharpened it a bit. Resized it and framed it. That's it. The one below has no editing done. You can still see her eye color but it's not as bright. Overall, she looks better than she would have in TS2 with no custom content, in my opinion anyway.

This was so awesome! I didn't even know it was a possibility, but she works in the criminal career and got arrested, spent the day in the slammer. Too funny. She played dominoes and made friends with criminals, had a great time, apparently.

This poor sim was based on my sim self, but she is sooo boring. Try as I might I can't find her interesting to play or to look at. Fatty has spoiled me, I adore her.

Is it any wonder why? She's awesome. She started out very large, but while working her way up the career track and getting those athletic skills she's slimming down. I liked her better before! It's hard for her to work out, I made her a couch potato. And she's crazy, and inappropriate. She goes to the park in her ball gown, and runs to the car pool in her cow printed undies. What's not to love? LOL

Special Mad Hippie/Rainbow Ridge Update

Hello World! This is so cool! I've been reading about Rainbow Ridge for a year or more now, and look at me! Here I am, the newest immigrant! Far out!

Let me fill your head with how I got here. This is me, when I was just a little rugrat. What a trip, right? Back then was a totally different scene. I was the fifth generation born into a family of hippies. My father Sage was really uptight and tried to stifle our family's unique character, but SURPRISE! I was way more like his mother and grandmother than he even imagined.

And this is me as a baby, with my mother Meadow and my father, after his surgery. There was a bust at the commune, and my entire family moved to the city and shacked up in rad apartments. Not for long though. Right after I turned into a teen a huge epidemic wiped out all of Beatnikville. I'm not really sure what happened, but it was a bad scene. Somehow, I'm the only one who survived. Well, me and my grandmother, Mint. She had already moved out of town, years before. Her life didn't exactly turn out like she wanted it, but that's another story for another day.

This is where I crash now. Morningstar Commune. It's such a groovy place, I doubt I'll ever leave.

And this is my grandmother, Mint. I had always known her as my crazy great aunt. That's another long story. It nearly blew her mind when she heard what happened to Beatnikville. I was still recovering and was in shock, but when she insisted I come stay with her I didn't protest. I didn't really have any choice, anyway. Where else was I going to go? I was a rolling stone...

At first the commune was so boring, just a bunch of old farts, what a drag! But when I went Downtown to Rodney's Hideout one night, I met my soulmate, Ty.

"I get by with a little help from my friends, get high with a little help from my friends..."

He was very quiet, it took me a while to really get in his head, but he eventually spilled that he was homeless. A runaway, he said. From The Law, or from his folks, it didn't matter to us. Grandma Mint insisted he crash at the commune, and those were the best months of my life.

He was my first kiss. My first love. My first everything. We had a blast together!

We really were inseperable. Atleast, I thought we were.

One night, after months and months of being together, as I slept, completely out of it, my life was changing. And I didn't even know it. Heavy, right?

By the time morning came, Ty had split. No note, no phone call. Nothing.

I know what everyone thought. That it was just puppy love, that I'd get over it. But it took a long time. I cried every night for weeks. I was a wreck, man. I just couldn't believe he'd abandon me like that. He knew he was my whole world. I thought I was his, too.

That winter was the longest of my life. But it's true what they say: what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.I knew I needed to get it together. I couldn't let a broken heart bring me down any longer. Thankfully, there was a lot to do around the commune, I had plenty of chores to keep me busy.

I didn't think it would ever happen, but eventually I was happy again.

Still, I never forgot my first love. Not for a minute. I loved to look up at the night sky, wondering if he was doing the same thing, wondering if he missed me, and why he left me.

Before I knew it, I was all grown up! I didn't have a plastic, worldly party. Every day you're surrounded by hippies is like a party, anyway.

So, like I said, life went on. Grandma Mint served meal after meal for the boarders and all the cats that came to hang out. She never complained either, she's pretty cool. She certainly is different from the Aunt Mint I had heard about as a kid!

Now that I was legal I thought maybe I should get a real paying gig. I could use the bread. But then, like most of my family before me, I let that thought drift right back out of my head. Here at Morningstar we prefer to live off the land, growing our own food, and making our own threads.

I did get to know the locals though, now that I wasn't all wrapped up in my teenaged love life.

I met Melissa Fancey Downtown one night, and man, she's a kindred spirit! We are definitely gonna hit it off, I can tell already.

I also met some like-minded romance sims. Once Goopy told me he didn't mind cheating, I knew we'd get along just fine, too. I tried monogomy once, turned out it wasn't for me. From now on it's no strings for this chick!

Goopy wasn't the only dude in town noticing what a fox I had become. Before long the commune was jam packed with dudes from all over Rainbow Ridge.

Not long after that I started noticing I was putting on weight. And crashing in my dinner. Yeah, I grew up surrounded by free love and freedom from contraceptives. I knew I was PG, and I wasn't exactly cool with it.

Wouldn't you know, I ended up having doubles! Twins! My son Basil and my daughter Curry were born right there in the commune sleeping area. There are so many extra hands around it shouldn't be too hard to look after them. I just wish I was sure who their Daddy is! Time will tell, I hope.

Remember Inn? Susie Mullins-Danger's
(and Caulfield's) daughter? Sure you do! Well, she graduated from college last round, and has been wooing her crush, Scott. He finally agreed to move in, and they live with her parents in a fancy hotel Downtown.

Caulfield here is her Daddy, a reformed romance sim, or so I thought. My sim self (and the town big mouth, hehe) happens to live in the apartment too, and Caulfield wants her. Badly. Tracie is a bi**h though, and doesn't really like anyone. She's not afraid to show it, either! The chick in the hot tub obviously feels the same way about her, she glares right back as Tracie slinks out of the tub. Heh.

Tracie is a one-sim romancer, she is totally in love/lust with her hubby, Don.

Don's mandar (or something) goes off, and he doesn't like an old guy sniffing around his woman like that. Hey, Caulfield used to be a
hottie, back in the day!

At the Boyd-Mullins home, Shelley had to bust-a-move to try to get back into her father John's good graces. I don't know why he was mad at her, but she danced her way out of the dog house. This is definitely one of my oddest households!

Her hubby, Joshua embraces his three nice points, and decides to become a good witch, instead of evil! We'll see how long that lasts.

Their oldest daughter Sabrina just married Emem Ngai and they had a son, Zuri. Selene has been skilling and is off to college, while Darren just grew into his ugliness. Sort of.

He rolled Pleasure, and wants to become a Celebrity Chef. In the meantime though, he's just like any other teenaged sim boy, he quickly "befriends" Meadow, hoping to get his first kiss.

Who knew Popularity sims would make such good parents? Not me! Dick and Renny both take very good care of their unique looking daughter, Clarice.

Dick is already platinum thanks to having a gagillion friends, but Renny is still trying to become the next Celebrity Chef, since the old one is getting, you know...old. Too bad her mother, Christy takes all the credit whenever she whips up something yummy. Everyone "oooh'd" and "aaaah'd" over the baked alaska, Renny got none of the credit at all.

Christy and Kevin's other, forgotten children Piper and Adley finally grew up, hopefully to become more interesting teenagers than they were as children. Piper rolled Fortune, Adley rolled Romance.

Round 17 Update C (The Boyd Families)

Round 17 Update C (The Boyd Families)

Nothing happened with Nicholas Boyd and his family. Nothing! Rose got old, Zachary and Cookie had their 5th birthdays and started school. That's it. *yawn*

Over at Nicholas' father's house, however, things happened. Lots of things. His half brother Jaden took it upon himself to tempt the aliens.

John showed just what a caring father he really is. But he gets his, just watch...

Jaden's hubby Johnson wants to get in the Garden club, so he invites the lady over. They do get in, and get the well too, the first in Rainbow Ridge!

But it took a lot of work on John's part, and some sacrificing, as well. Hee hee. Poor John, he's a romance sim, and most of the neighborhood has plantsim (ism) as their turn offs, because we didn't have any before. I forgot to put a roof on the green house, so it was full of bugs. My bad. I may cure him eventually, but it's fun to watch him suffer for a while.

And as for John's other half (and Jaden's mother), Melissa hasn't been having an easy time either these days. She was in desperate need of 20 woohoos, so we packed up the wishing well and brought it to Jaden's club, Dance!. Apparently she used the well too often, and got the wrath of Mrs. Crumplebottom. Then she got caught cheating by someone or other, and had a break down. Ahhh, good times, good times. Melissa has always been good entertainment, I have to say.

Oh yeah, and Johnson's twin daughters had their birthdays, and started school. One of them is BFF with "Grandma" Melissa, the other can't stand her. I have no idea why. I obviously missed something though!

So, at the third and final Boyd home...John's granddaughter Victoria is still working on those 50 Dream Dates. She remembers catching Goopy cheating with someone, but has obviously forgiven, if not forgotten.

Atleast someone is getting some, because Victoria's parents are old and platinum, so I pay no attention to them at all. I really need to reinstall ACR, so they can atleast have some fun on their own!

The next morning, another dream date, a cheering mailman, and a resentful grandmother, hehe.

Inside the house, twins Ethan and Nicholas are catching up, gossipping about how Hannah burned the spaghetti. No mention of the fact that her marriage is a sham and her husband is in love with another man. Nope, nothing gets a chuckle like burnt spaghetti, apparently. Nicholas is shocked!

To help break up the monotony of the continuous dating, the lovebirds head to Jaden's Dance! club for some public woohoo thrills.

Where they are loudly cheered on by her grandfather, John. Ewwww.

Ethan was there too, and was getting chatted up by his ex-sister in law, Rose. He gave her the cold shoulder, then changed his mind and flirted with her, remembering how hot she was in their college days, maybe?

Big mistake Ethan! Victoria was outraged that her father would flirt with another woman right there in front of her, no less. The town gossip columnist Tracie was in shock, his father John was in shock, and Ethan was ashamed.

The next morning he showed back up at Dance! to make up with his father, who was not interested. Eh, they'll get over it sooner or later.

At the Fairchild's house, Denaro shows just how smart she is by not coming in out of the cold on her own. Some Knowledge sim! Blue looks good on her though, am I right?

Franc gets all emo playing a serious game with his cousin, Lina. (Lina's mom is Pammy, Jessie's sister) I pan the camera around to see exactly what game he's losing. The Sims 3? Heh. If you can "lose" while playing the sims, I'm in big trouble...

After Denaro thaws out and Franc quits in anger, Denaro tries to get bitten by Bailey before she heads off to college. Although they are good friends by now, it's a no go. Can teens get bitten? Is Denaro just full of fail? *ponders*

Over at the Pederson abode, a serious smustle session is going on. Kevin Mullins had gotten to be very good friends with Daniel and Maria when they were living in the same apartment building. Maria decided the apartment was too cramped with the addition of Goopy Jr., however, so they moved into a new house, and took her daughter Millie, and Millie's half sister Keesha with her. Renny was just walking by and stopped to smustle with her sisters.(Renny is also Kevin's sister in law, having married his younger brother, Dick. Confused? Me too...)

Maria makes a joke about how Christy couldn't have married Robert if she hadn't divorced him first, but Christy didn't think it was funny. She was still in love with Robert when he died, after all. Maria, not so much.

I decide to send the romance-minded half sisters on a quest to meet some new, not taken men, and what better place than the bowling alley? Too bad the only interesting character there is Mrs. Crumplebottom, who invariably shows up at wherever the skanky sisters go, and she cheers *mightily* as Millie falls on her face.

Speaking of the skanky sisters, Keesha finally did it, she became Rainbow Ridge's newest Rock God. Goddess? Thank goodness, Benjamin could break a hip nowadays!

Her little brother Goopy, who recently had his 11th birthday, belts out a tune, trying to reel in the ladies. Alas, everyone in the building was related to him, so it didn't work the way he had hoped.

On to the third, and final Randolph family home, we have a wedding! Helga finally gets the man she's been dreaming of since she was a child. Richard Siew, family man.

Always the Family sim, mom Pammy looks on proudly, and maybe a little nostalgically, wishing Gavin were still alive to see this day.

After having to resort to a few cheats, I finally wrangle the family up to pose for a quick picture. The wedding album will be posted in Helga's journal soon, with pretty pictures thanks to the fabulous builder of To Have and To Hold, sfw1962.

Tracy is the town reporter for Channel 2 Action News, as well as her v-blog The Daily Dish. She is married to Don Lothario, and she is the unofficial spokesman for Rainbow Ridge, thanks to her big mouth and nosiness.

Michael is married to Karen, and father to Susie Danger, Tricia Jung, Joshua Mullins, Kevin Mullins, Dick Mullins and Jane Mullins. He is also grandfather to Inn Danger, Carl, Andrea, Robby and Shane Jung, Selene, Sabrina(Ngai) and Darren Mullins, Piper and Adley Mullins, Clarice Mullins, and Boyd Mullins. He retired as a Dance Video Star as soon as he became platinum when his sixth child married. His father, Thomas, was married to the Diva Katherine when he passed away.

Karen is a retired Criminal Mastermind. Married to Michael, they share two children, Dick and Jane, and Michaels four children from a previous relationship. Karen is a proud grandmother to Clarice Mullins and Boyd Mullins. She was best friends with the recently murdered Katherine. Together they ran the very popular Diva's Cafe.

Katherine, the Diva, is deceased. She left one son, Goopy Jr. who now lives with his father Daniel Pederson. (The Mayor). Her murder is currently under investigation.

Goopy is a Romance sim who is currently living with and continually Dream Dating Victoria Boyd. (She is on a mission for 50!) He was briefly involved with the Diva, Katherine, and thought he was the father of her son, Goopy Jr. (He was not, it was the Mayor, Daniel Pederson).

Goopy Jr., son of the late Katherine Mullins, was recently adopted by his biological father Daniel Pederson and his wife Maria. He has a plan for a vendetta against those responsible for his mother's murder.

Kevin is a Family sim just waiting to celebrate his Golden Anniversary. He's been married to Christy for many years, works part time in the Dance career field, and helps raise his children, Piper and Adley. He is very close to his father Michael, and most of his sisters and brothers.

Christy Stratton married Robert Randolph in Year 3004, shortly after he divorced Maria. They had twins Keesha and Renny, and then Robert passed away. She then married Kevin Mullins after he dropped out of college in 3021, and had her second set of twins, Adley and Piper. She's a Family sim, working in the Education field.

Keesha is the daughter of Christy Stratton Randolph Mullins and the late Robert Randolph. Her twin sister is Renny Mullins, her half siblings are Jessie Fairchild, Millie Randolph and Pammy Lillard. She is our current Rock God! In her spare time, she enjoys hitting on anything that walks, along with her like-minded sister, Millie.

Dick is the son of Michael and Karen Mullins. His twin sister is Jane, who is married to Nicholas II. His other (half) siblings are Tricia Jung, Susie Danger, Kevin Mullins and Joshua Mullins. He achieved his LTW of having 20 simultaneous best friends while in college, and now spends his time caring for wife Renny and new daughter Clarice. He is trying to save money to build a new place Downtown and wants to call it Party Central.

Renny is the child of Robert Randolph and Christy Stratton Randolph Mullins. Her twin sister is Keesha, her older half-sisters are Jessie Fairchild, Millie Randolph, and Pammy Menon Lillard. She is married to Dick Mullins and has one daughter, infant Clarice. She is a Popularity sim working her way up the Culinary career track.

Jane is the twin of Dick, and daughter of Michael and Karen Mullins. (Her older half-siblings are Tricia Jung, Joshua Mullins, Kevin Mullins and Susie Danger) She is married to Nicholas Boyd II, mother to Boyd, and working on becoming a good witch. She's a very outgoing Knowledge sim.

Boyd is the son of Jane Mullins and Nicholas Boyd II. His grandparents are Michael and Karen Mullins, and Ethan and Belle Boyd. His maternal great grandfather was Thomas Mullins, paternal great grandfather is Caulfield Danger.

John is the town's first die hard romance sim. He came to town with his teenaged sons Ethan and Nicholas, and toddler daughter Shelley. Later he moved in Melissa Fancey and they had a son, Jaden. Jaden recently gave birth to his first child, son Mauli. John's other grandchildren are Nicholas II and Victoria Boyd, Sabrina Mullins (Ngai), Jette Boyd, and his great grandchildren are Zuri Ngai and Boyd Mullins. He is also close to his step grandchildren Selene and Darren Mullins, and to Jaden's step children Babette and Brigette. John also has the honor of recently becoming Rainbow Ridge's first plant sim!

Melissa is a retired Professional Party Guest, who loves to garden in her spare time. She is the first in the neighborhood to receive the Wishing Well from the Gardening Club. Her only child Jaden lives with her and John, along with Jaden's husband Johnson and their three children. She recently achieved her second LTW by woohooing 20 sims.

Jaden is a World Class Ballet Dancer, and father to son Mauli. He is happily married to Johnson Zhang, and together they raise their children while helping out his elderly parents. He is the proud owner of Rainbow Ridge's newest hotspot Dance!

Mauli is Jaden's "abduction" baby.

Johnson met Jaden at college and helped him come to terms with his shyness and his virginity, as well. They got married and live with Jaden's parents John and Melissa, raising Johnson's daughters Babette and Brigette and Jaden's son Mauli. He's a shy Knowledge sim working his way up the Criminal career track.

Babette is a sloppy, playful Sagittarius working on her Gardening Badges with her "grandparents" John and Melissa.Brigette is a shy, nice and playful Capricorn, she has already maxed out two skills.

Daniel Pederson is Rainbow Ridge's first Mayor. He is married to the General, Maria Pederson, formerly Maria Randolph. He is a loving step father to Maria's daughters from her previous marriage, and recently gained custody of his only son Goopy Jr., whom he had from an illicit affair with Katherine Mullins. He is currently heartbroken over Katherine's death, and consoles himself with drinks.

Maria Randolph Pederson is the current General. She was previously married to Robert Randolph, and they had 3 daughters together; Jessie Fairchild, Millie Randolph and Pammy Menon Lillard. After much soul searching Maria graciously took Goopy Jr. into her home, and is a kind, loving mother to him. Her grandchildren are Franc and Denaro Fairchild, and Helga and Lina Menon.

Hannah is the daughter of the late Emily Marsh, sister to Christine, Lee, and the late Sara Ngai. She is married to Dickson Danaher, who is in love with another man, and she is the mother to teenaged Susannah. She is a frustrated Romance sim, who writes an advice column for the Rainbow Ridge Times, and runs The Lonely Hearts Club, an online dating service.

Dickson is an in-the-closet gay Romance sim, who married Hannah out of duty and wants out of his marriage to be free with his boyfriend, Craig. He wants 20 simultaneous lovers, but instead spends his days in the gardens, growing food for the entire Marsh clan who live in his home. He is the father of Susannah, and teaches the hula to anyone and everyone in his spare time.

Susannah is the daughter of Hannah (Marsh) and Dickson Danaher. LTW: 50 First Dates. She's a shy but friendly Sagittarius.

Caulfield came to Rainbow Ridge with his teenaged daughter Belle. He worked his way to the top of the Intelligence career, romanced half the town, and married Susie Mullins soon after she graduated from college. They have one daughter together, Inn. Caulfield is a grandfather to Belle's twins Nicholas II and Victoria, and great grandfather to one (so far) Boyd Mullins. Due to his romancing ways, his trash is constantly kicked over and his family is always sick. He is retired now and still dates with all this new free time on his hands.

Susie Danger is the daughter of Michael Mullins. She is married to long time philanderer Caulfield Danger. They have one child, daughter Inn. Susie is the town's Education Minister.
Her siblings are Tricia Jung, Joshua Mullins, Dick Mullins, Jane Mullins, and Kevin Mullins.

Inn recently graduated from Rainbow Ridge University and plans on getting engaged soon. She is an extremely outgoing and nice Knowledge sim, whose LTW is to become a Game Designer. She currently lives with her parents, Caulfield and Susie in an apartment Downtown.

Ethan is the son of John Boyd, and the brother of Nicholas, Shelley and Jaden. He is Rainbow Ridge's first Icon, and starred in Big Foot Lives! He married his college sweetheart, Belle Danger, and they have two children, Nicholas II and Victoria. The happily married couple are now grandparents to Boyd Mullins, and see him often.

Belle is the daughter of Caulfield Danger. She is a retired Game Designer and owner of Belle's Pottery Shop. She is the mother of Nicholas II and Victoria, and grandmother of Boyd Mullins. She's pretty shy and keeps to herself for the most part.

Victoria is a Pleasure sim working on 50 Dream Dates with boyfriend Goopy GilsCarbo. At last count she was up to 35. She is the shy, playful daughter of Ethan and Belle, sister of Nicholas II, and granddaughter of Caulfield and John Boyd.

Nicholas is a typical Sagittarius Romance sim. He is married to college sweetheart Jane Mullins, they have one son Boyd and live with his in-laws, Michael and Karen. He is a twin to sister Victoria, son of Ethan and Belle, and named for his uncle Nicholas. He is currently unemployed and spends his days bowling and playing myshuno. He also has the hots for his mother in law, Karen, but hasn't acted on his feelings. Yet.

Nicholas is the son of John Boyd, brother to Ethan, Shelley and Jaden. He was formerly married to Rose and they had a daughter, Jette. He is currently married to Kaylynn, and they have a son, Zachary. He is a proud grandfather to Cookie Boyd, and an involved uncle to Nicholas II, Victoria, Sabrina, Selene, Darren, Mauli, Babette and Brigette, and his first great nephew, Zuri Ngai. He is a retired Business Tycoon.

Kaylynn is the second wife of Nicholas, step mother to Jette and mother of Zachary. She is a shy Family sim who wants to graduate 6 kids from college. Instead, she writes best selling novels from their home, and has begun making eyes at the upstairs neighbor. (who just happens to be the same sim who broke up Nicholas' marriage to first wife, Rose.

Rose is a Family sim who married Nicholas right after college. She soon had an affair with the neighbor and left Nicholas and their daughter Jette for a life on her own. After living the single life for a while she again settle down, this time with Carl Charmers, a Show Biz Icon. She became the new Education Minister when Susie Danger retired, and is also a grandmother to Jette's daughter Cookie.

Carl is a shy Knowledge sim who somehow managed to become an Icon. He is married to Rose and they are helping to raise Rose's granddaughter Cookie, who lives with them in a cottage out in the country. He has no idea that his wife is still in love with her ex-lover, Julien Cooke.

Jette is an extremely outgoing (and not exactly nice) Romance sim. She is the daughter of Rose Charmer and Nicholas Boyd, and is living with her college boyfriend Orlando Bertino, although not for much longer. She has a daughter Cookie, whom she neglects in her quest to become a Professional Party Guest.

Orlando is the boy toy of the Romance sims in the neighborhood, meeting the needs of not only his current girlfriend Jette, but also Millie Randolph, Keesha Randolph, Hannah Danaher and probably many more. He's not a Romance sim though, he's Fortune, he just gets around! He will probably soon be a single dad to daughter Cookie, his child with Jette Boyd.

Millie is the oldest daughter of the late Robert Randolph and Maria Pederson. She is a lifelong romance sim, who recently became a Prestidigitator after successfully woohooing 20 different sims. She lives with her half sister Keesha and together they plan to "woo" the world. She is also close with her sisters Pammy and Jessie and her many neices and nephews. She has no plans to repopulate the sim earth with her own offspring, however.

Charles met Pammy back in college, they got reacquainted recently and quickly married. He is a Family sim who wants to become Rainbow Ridge's next Captain Hero.

Pammy is the daughter of Maria Pederson and the late Robert Randolph. Her sisters are Jessie Fairchild and Millie Randolph, her half sisters are Keesha Randolph and Renny Mullins. She recently achieved her LTW of raising 20 pets, has been widowed and remarried, has two daughters Helga and Lina, and her first grandchild is on the way. Pammy runs the Digger's gardening club and is the owner of Stay Safe Kennels.

Helga is the daughter of the late Gavin Menon and Pammy Randolph Menon Lillard. She has been friends with Richard Siew her entire life, and they recently got married and are expecting their first child. Helga is an outgoing Knowledge sim (having rerolled from Romance in college) and wants to become the Chief of Staff. Her only sibling is sister Lina.

Richard is a playful Taurus Family sim, married to Helga, and wants to graduate three children from college. He lives with his in-laws, helps out with the kennels, and is currently working in the music field for extra money.

Lina is a neat and playful Popularity sim who wants to own five top level businesses. (She is definitely rerolling in college!) She never met her father Gavin who died before she was born, but she's very close to her mother Pammy, sister Helga, and new step father Charles. Maria Pederson is her maternal grandmother.

Shelley Boyd Mullins is the only daughter of John Boyd. Her brothers are Ethan, Nicholas and Jaden. She became Rainbow Ridge's first evil witch while away at college, and quickly turned her fiance Joshua into one as well. Later they married and had a daughter, Sabrina. Joshua got abducted and had daughter Selene, and later on Darren. Shelley is currently a Space Pirate, and is enjoying being a grandmother to grandson Zuri.

Joshua is the son of Michael Mullins. His siblings are Susie Danger, Tricia Jung, Kevin Mullins, and half siblings Dick Mullins and Jane Mullins. He is married to Shelley Boyd, and they share one daughter, Sabrina and one grandchild, Zuri. Joshua also has two abduction children, Selene and Darren. He is close to both his own extended family and his in-laws as well. He got fired as a Space Pirate and now stays home to tend the children. He and his wife Shelley host the Creature Club.

Sabrina recently wed Emem Ngai, and they have a son, Zuri. She is a very nice, neat Virgo Popularity sim, who is hoping to become the next Media Magnate. Her parents are Joshua and Shelley Mullins, her maternal grandfather is John Boyd, her paternal grandfather is Michael Mullins. She has one sister Selene, and a brother Darren. She and Emem live with his family, helping Roger get over the death of his wife, Sara.

Selene is the alien daughter of Joshua Mullins. She is totally neat, outgoing and active, and a tad mean. She grew up in the shadow of her "perfect" sister Sabrina, and hopes to have revenge someday. She briefly dated Sabrina's husband Emem when they were all teenagers, and is soon off to college herself. She has one little brother, Darren.

Darren is the alien son of Joshua Mullins, grandson of Michael Mullins. He is sloppy, playful and active. Goody! His older sisters are Sabrina and Selene, and he is now an uncle to little Zuri!

Jessie is platinum thanks to an old dusty lamp that was dropped off on her doorstep. Her mother is Maria Pederson, her father Robert is deceased. She is married to college beau Tucker Fairchild, a man after her own heart. Together they own 3 top level businesses, and somehow managed to raise their twins Franc and Denaro. Jessie is currently a Cult Leader, and is thinking about raising the dead loved ones around Rainbow Ridge.

Tucker is Rainbow Ridge's current Hall of Famer. He is married to Jessie, and father to Franc and Denaro. Most of his time is spent at his many businesses, he is well known for not taking no for an answer. He runs the gym No Pain, No Gain, and recently bought Fairchild Appliances. He is looking forward to his children entering RRU in the fall.

Denaro is the completely outgoing daughter of power couple Jessie and Tucker Fairchild. She is a Knowledge sim on her way to college, hoping to become the Chief of Staff. She has one brother, Franc. Her maternal grandmother is Maria Pederson, her cousins are Helga, Lina, and Cookie. She hasn't had a boyfriend yet, but somehow has made friends with most of the teens in the neighborhood.

Franc is the sweet, friendly Pleasure sim son of Jessie and Tucker Fairchild. His high school sweetheart is Andrea Jung, they are headed off to college together very soon.

Donte is a serious Family sim, waiting for his LTW to have six grandchildren someday. He is slowly working his way up the Law Enforcement track, and is very in love with his wife, Tricia. They have four kids, teens Carl and Andrea, and school aged Robby and Shane. Donte doesn't know that his wife harbors a crush on the newly widowed Roger Ngai, he is always busy when he's not working, trying to get that gold toy making badge.

Tricia is a bored housewife, a Family sim married to Donte, mother of four. She has been thinking of rekindling a fling with college sweetheart Roger Ngai, and works out endlessly on her exercise equipment. Her father is Michael Mullins, her siblings are Joshua Mullins, Susie Danger, Jane Boyd, Dick Mullins and Kevin Mullins. She has more neices and nephews than I care to list.

Carl is a grouchy and outgoing Romance Scorpio, currently dating nice girl Fame Marsh. His parents are Donte and Tricia, his siblings are Andrea, Robby and Shane. He is off to University any day now.

Andrea is outgoing and grouchy like her twin, Carl. She is a Knowledge sim, and is going steady (for the time being) with Franc Denaro. Her parents are Tricia and Donte, and she has a ton of cousins around town. She is friends with most of them. She, too, is off to University soon.

Benjamin is a retired Rock God, currently being stalked by werewolf groupies. He lives with his fiance Christine and their teenaged daughter Fame.

Christine is our Celebrity Chef, star of her own show Le Cook. Her sisters are Hannah Danaher, Lee Ma, and the late Sara Ngai. Their mother Emily died years ago while the girls were still young. Christine has long been engaged to Rock God Benjamin Phillips, and they have a daughter, Fame.

Fame is the super-nice, outgoing daughter of Rock God Benjamin Phillips and Celebrity Chef Christine Marsh. Her maternal grandmother was Emily Marsh, her aunts are the late Sara Ngai, Lee Ma and Hannah Danaher. She is best friends with her younger cousin Susannah, and is going steady with Carl Jung. She is a Family sim who wants to out her aunt Lee as the next Captain Hero. She's joining the rest of the teens on the next round to college.

Shane is a Media Magnate, after many years of hard work. He is the local reporter for the Rainbow Ridge Times, and spokesman for the Sims United Neighborhoods. (SUN). He is married to Captain Hero Lee Ma.

Lee is the youngest daughter of Emily. Her sisters are Hannah Danaher, Christine Marsh, and the late Sara Ngai. She is happily married to Shane Ma, and is Rainbow Ridge's Captain Hero. She and Shane have no children, but spend plenty of time with their neices and nephews. Lee is also a published author, writer of Memoirs of Emily.

Roger is a serious and mean Family sim, who only wanted to reach his Golden Anniversary. Sadly that didn't happen, as his wife Sara died while watching the sky one day. They have two grown children, Emem and Emily who both live with him, as well as Emem's new wife Sabrina and son Zuri.

Sara was a Family sim hoping to marry off six children. Much like Tricia Jung, Sara was restless and often tried to entice the mailman by lounging around in the yard in her undies. She often day dreamed of other men, but nothing ever came of it, probably because she died so young. She is the mother of Emem and Emily, and never got to meet her first grandchild, Zuri. Her sisters are Hannah Danaher, Lee Ma, and Christine Marsh.

Emem is the misunderstood Knowledge sim, who should have rolled Romance. As a child he felt neglected, as a teen he dated most of the female teens in the neighborhood. Against his wishes he married sweet Sabrina Mullins, and they now have a son, Zuri. His parents are Roger and the late Sara Ngai (Marsh), his only sibling is twin Emily.

Emily is an outgoing, grouchy Romance sim trying to become a Professional Party Guest. She's also a neat freak, and very active, she literally runs around the house cleaning up after everyone. Her mother Sara recently passed away, father Roger walks aimlessly around the house, and her brother Emem is a new husband and father. She is best friends with cousins Fame Marsh and Susannah Marsh Danaher.

Contessa Maureen is a bloodthirsty Pleasure sim, married to Count Leo. Together they own A Slaughtered Lamb, an Irish pub, and they have taken the life of quite a few sims already.

Count Leo is the buffoonish sidekick of the mastermind, Contessa Maureen. His friendly, charming ways help the couple make friends who mistakenly trust them. He lives with Maureen in a creepy castle high on a hill.

Round 17 Years 36-42 Update A (Marsh Descendants)

The fun loving, and all too friendly teenaged Fame makes a break for it, and borrows the family car to go Downtown. To meet new people, I suppose.

However, being the daughter of two super stars hasn't really given her any people skills. She'll give you that creepy ten nice point smile, then pull a prank on an unsuspecting mean sim. She had 5 of them lined up to poke her in no time at all.

But she did manage to get the phone number of the cute bartender. She will be college age any day now, you know!

But sometimes she still acts like a little kid, running around the house to her oblivious parents and aunts and uncles, waving around her report card when no one cares. It's sad, really.

Meanwhile, her cousin Susannah has her 11th birthday, and starts her "teen" years as well. Susannah is Hannah and Dickson's daughter.

And since it was that time, Fame's father Benjamin got old and went out to celebrate. Or not.

He took a group of friends to the LuLu Lounge, but even with all his Rock Star fame, he couldn't dance a lick, and his "friends" deserted him. Nothing is more sad than an aging Rock Star trying to steal the limelight. *cough* Rolling Stones *cough*

Benjamin's fiance, (and Fame's mother) Christine preferred to have her 54th birthday alone, in the bathroom. Where she could assess the damages.

Apparently her sister Hannah had the same idea. Neither one of them really liked what they saw. Can't say that I blame them, really.

So, after spending the obligatory amount of time at home with the old folks, Fame gets an idea. Since her Mom hosts her own cooking show, she would like to enter her own meals in a cooking contest at Sue's (not so) Secret Kitchen. She whisltles nonchallantly while everyone else lines up...

This was about as worried as her face looked. As in, not very.

Fame is too nice! She barely grimaced when she lost. But then she went out back and stuffed her face on the candy making machine. I guess even nice sims like to eat away their pain with chocolate.

So, in other Marsh family news. RIP Sara Ngai. (And no, I didn't kill her, it happened all on it's own. However, I didn't tell her husband to beg for her life either.) Population control, people!

Roger, the oh-so-devoted-and-boring Family sim was devestated, of course.

But life is for the living, and so he held a wedding for his son, Emem and Sabrina Mullins. Sabrina is the daughter of Shelley Boyd Mullins and Joshua Mullins. That makes her granddaughter to John Boyd and Michael Mullins both. My first mixed family experiment. Heh.

Roger and Sara's other child, Emily is enjoying life as an adult, rolling all kinds of weird wants, like the one you see here. She's adorable, but not too bright, I'm afraid.

I had a lot of work to do to get my game caught up to the site, but I'm not complaining, after your computer literally catches on fire you are very lucky to have kept your sims at all! I just wanted to post an update about my lack of updating! My motherboard caught fire on Christmas Eve (gah!) and my computer has been in the shop. They assure me since I have a gazillion backups my beloved Rainbow Ridge is safe and sound. I was halfway through the new round, with a bunch of updates already written just not posted. So hopefully in a few days I'll atleast get those out there. Just wanted to let everyone know!

Obituaries
Ngai, Sara. With intense regret we inform you that Sara Ngai, formerly Sara Marsh of 3 Country Lane passed away unexpectedly Thursday night at her home. She was only 41 years old, and had just celebrated the graduation of her twins Emily and Emem from her alma mater, Rainbow Ridge University. Her husband Roger says Sara had been feeling nostalgic and went outside to gaze at the stars. Tragically, a rogue satellite fell from the sky and crushed the homemaker underneath it. She will be sadly missed by her husband, children, sisters Christine, Lee and Hannah, nieces Susannah and Fame, and many friends. A memorial celebration of her life will be held Saturday morning at Le Park for all who wish to attend.

Ngai, Sara. With intense regret we inform you that Sara Ngai, formerly Sara Marsh of
3 Country Lane passed away unexpectedly Thursday night at her home. She was only 41 years
old, and had just celebrated the graduation of her twins Emily and Emem from her alma mater,
Rainbow Ridge University. Her husband Roger says Sara had been feeling nostalgic and went
outside to gaze at the stars. Tragically, a rogue satellite fell from the sky and crushed
the homemaker underneath it. She will be sadly missed by her husband, children, sisters Christine,
Lee and Hannah, nieces Susannah and Fame, and many friends. A memorial celebration of her life
will be held Saturday morning at Le Park for all who wish to attend.

This is the gang! Jessie (Randolph) Fairchild's twins Franc and Denaro, Tricia (Mullins) Jung's twins Carl and Andrea, Joshua Mullin's daughter Selene, and Fame Marsh, the daughter of the Rock God, Benjamin and the Celebrity Chef Christine Marsh.

Carl thinks he's cool, but he's not. Not even a tiny bit! Andrea is just temporarily awkward, there's hope for her.

Denaro still has some self esteem issues, as she shows by hitting on Carl. Sadly, she's just one in a loooong line.

Speaking of lines! The teens took an innocent trip to Le Park, and all of a sudden this crowd forms at the photobooth...

At first, I was just slightly annoyed, I knew he wouldn't stay faithful and I hated the thought of all those fights. But then I remembered they were cousins. His mother and her father are sister and brother. Or, they were in the original neighborhood, I cloned them all in SimPe, and I obviously didn't connect all the family ties! Heh.

Anywho...The oh-so-nice Fame absolutely revels in her position at the Greek House as the self appointed dorm mother. She happily bakes fattening desserts to follow their equally fattening diet of free pizzas. It's no wonder the coach is always there, nagging at them to get rid of that "freshman fifteen".

Denaro finds an outlet for her inner pain. Yes Franc, that is her third piece, what of it? He wisely keeps his mouth shut.

Their first toga party and they invite Selene's little brother, Darren. He can't wait to get to college, what teenager wouldn't jump at the chance to smustle with sexy co-eds? This is when I first noticed Franc and Fame noticing each other.

One sexy dance kiss later and they were in love! Carl is still not cool.

But he obviously has something going on that I don't see! Not that it's difficult to catch the attention of our "alluring" Melissa!

She showed up for what she thought was going to be a booty call, but it was just plain old bad timing. Carl was being carted off to the Secret Society. Shhhhhh.

Simple minded Melissa easily occupied herself while he was away, though! *mental note to get the poor broad some sexier granny panties, asap!

Oh snap! When Carl comes back and "seals the deal" with Melissa, Denaro goes ballistic. She gave him the best back rub of his life, how could he not stay loyal to her?!

Denaro has a bi**h face like no other, but don't let her fool you. This was temporary insanity, apparently. Minutes later she was following him around like a love sick puppy. The poor girl.

Meanwhile, Selene isn't being loyal to Carl, either. She is taking full advantage of her time alone at the Shhhhhhh Secret Society to "smooth talk" whomever will listen.

Fame's vow of purity makes poor Franc need some kind of outlet, so kicky bag it is! All. The. Time.

They tried to look all nonchalant, but they were both nearly in aspiration failure. So... I gave in. Just this once!

Oopsie, looks like love is in the air. Again. Nasty romance sims! I have cute cousins too, but still. We have boundaries!

Yeah, Andrea is still here. She never found a guy she was interested in, it was just learn, learn, learn. I think she just prefers to be a spectator. Or maybe she's gathering evidence to use against her brother's many conquests? We'll see.

One more update before Sims 3, my Hippie family is uprooted and flees to Rainbow Ridge. Cool, man.

Um yeah. So, I used to be a baby, and stuff? My mom was always busy studying witchcraft, I looked just like my dad, and my grandma used to be a Diva, but now ran around in granny panties. Not much to brag about, really.

So, I'm told I finally got out of diapers and stuff. All I remember is going to school and having to do homework all the time. Boring.

But I do remember discovering girls. That was memorable all right!

Well, I had no friends, so when it was time for my latest birthday, it was no big deal. My mom showed up in her undies, my grandmother was really over dressed. No one else showed up at all. I think my birthday wish was for my mom to get dressed, I'm not sure though.

I think I grew up all right. I've decided to Become The Law. That way I can make sims be my friend, whether they want to or not!

Proof of the best day of my life, so far anyway. My wedding pictures!

Isn't he adorable?

I obviously thought so. I didn't waste any time getting pregnant. Mom's old college friend Dickson stopped by. I wouldn't entertain most men in my granny panties, but Dickson isn't interested in me, if you know what I mean.

I've decided to help my mom with the Digger's club, so I'm working on getting a gold gardening badge of my own. And yes, I do believe in being barefoot and pregnant. As much as possible, in fact.

My mom is thrilled to know she'll be a grandmother soon. I worried that it would make her feel old, but she says she's excited. She invited her step father, Daniel over for a visit. I think she just wanted to feel young, so she invited the oldest person she knows over.

My little sister Lina is getting all grown up on us too! She always invites a crowd of giggling school girls over, makes me think of what I missed when I was growing up. All I cared about was Richard, I don't remember ever inviting anyone else over! But Lina is her own person. She'll be heading off to college soon, and not a moment too soon, too. We're going to need the extra space any day now!

Well Diary, I definitely put on the famous "Freshman 15" while away at RRU this year! But I'm working it off! I have a good reason for wanting to be in shape when I graduate.

That's right, I'm finally old enough to date Richard. Sigh.

I admit, the whole long distance relationship thing was fun, at first. Very romantic. But it got old, fast.

I studied hard, made lots of friends, even joined the Greek House. But couldn't a good knowledge/romance sim have some fun, too?

Even though I would have liked to move him in with me, I couldn't. But Richard spent nearly every night here, we got to know each other even better than before. It's different, now that I'm all grown up!

I've never been one to let grass grow under my feet, I impulsively proposed to Richard, and of course he accepted. We'll be moving in with Mom and her new fiance Charlie as soon as I graduate. I can't wait to start my new life!

My Mommy. My beautiful Mommy is gone!

She wasn't always around, but she was there when I really needed her! I know what people say about her, but she loved me. I know she did!

I wish they would tell me what happened. One day Nanny just took me the hospital, and told me my Mommy was very sick. She said to say my goodbyes before it was too late.

And then, she was just gone.

I waited on her bed and tried to be a good boy, just like she would have wanted. But Nanny never came back for me. Ms. Nelson the social worker did, instead.

She brought me here, to the Mayor!

I kind of remember him, from a party once when I was really little. Turns out he's my real father, and now I have to live here with him and his wife, the General.

This is going to be the best year of my life, I just know it!

Good morning Simerica! Tracy Lothario here again, with more Daily Fuel for you! Unfortunately I have both good and bad news to report today! But let's start with the juicy stuff, shall we?

Romance sims. We all know some. Heck, we all love some. But if you see these two terrible sisters, run away my friends. Run away.

These modern day Jezebels have really hit the town lately, chasing men all over the neighborhood. Their mattress gets more hits than Muhammid Ali's opponents.

So ladies, and I use that term loosely, the gig is up! We see you and your promiscuous ways, now everyone in Rainbow Ridge knows to lock up their men when you're around!

I admit, when I confronted the older Randolph hussy and she seemed filled with remorse, my heart softened. For a second.

But then I saw a familiar figure lounging upon her bed. My pity turned to outrage, I don't think I need explain why.

Anyway. Moving onto other news...

I heard through the gossip mill that our Mayor and his wife, the General, have been fighting like cats and dogs lately. It seems the Mayor has even begun to try to drink his pain away. I'd say there could be trouble in Paradise, but who am I kidding? These two have no more of a real marriage than Bill and Hillary.

In other political scandals, Caulfield Danger, the head of the SCIA, was recently part of a long lasting slap fest, involving two women and another man. His long time wife was no where to be seen. As his neighbor, I can personally testify to the multiple trash tippings, flaming bags of poo and roaches overtaking his yard. Someone needs to clean up their act, before the Neighborhood Committee steps in!

Now, for a serious moment. Sadly, we have had a great loss this week. I'm sure you've all heard of the mysterious death of our Diva, Katherine Mullins, who was a very dear friend of mine. Let us take a moment to remember her...*taps foot* Ok! Moment's passed!

Now here's where we can use your help! That's right, I'm not just here for entertainment value, I can be of some use, occasionally! My sources tell me that this photo of a fleeting figure was taken at the scene of the crime on the night Katherine Mullins died. I did some research, and I believe it is none other than that demented Irish pub owner. You know who she is, but I won't name any names! Keep a lookout for her, and beware! The RRPD think she's armed and dangerous. But she makes a heck of a good corned beef and cabbage. Yummy.

Good morning Simerica! Tracy Lothario here with your Daily Fuel in the form of juicy, spicy gossip! Yours truly was invited to the biggest event of the year, the Diva's New Years Bash. And boy, was there ever some bashing going on!

First of all, I got to meet our very own Rockstar, Benjamin Phillips. Yes, ladies, he is just as swoon-worthy in person as he appears in his videos, but let me tell you, he can be a tad inappropriate at times!

Although it was reported elsewhere that Mr. Phillips was a well-behaved and attentive fiance that evening, I can attest otherwise. He heart-farted over not one...not two...

...but three groupies that night. Ok, yes, the second one is me, but I kind of am a groupie, after all! Anyway, it wasn't either of us brunettes that got him into trouble, it was the beautiful red-head.

Wow, what a wild one she turned out to be!

My sources haven't been able to find out her name yet, but she went crazy and literally barked at the moon! She sure knows how to get the guy's attention at a party filled with beautiful women!

Apparently she got too much attention from our beloved Rockstar, his fiance was heard yelling a long streak of unrepeatable words at him all night. Of course he knows who butters his bread, Mr. Phillips was sniveling apologies right up until their limo took them home.

Note to Rockstars everywhere: groveling to the "old lady" is just not smexy!

So, while attempting to act coy and inconspicuous, I spotted a few other juicy tidbits to report to you, my eager viewers.

This probably won't surprise anyone, but our 'town clown', Goopy GilsCarbo, was belting out the melodies in his usually disturbing fashion. He can't sing a tune, but that doesn't stop him from trying!

Also, I am happy to report this secretly obtained photo of the Diva herself and her supposedly ex-lover, Mayor Pederson. This was my big score of the evening! Both the Mayor and Katherine deny their ongoing relationship. As a matter of fact, she has repeatedly degraded him in her journals, for all the world to see! It's a wonder that he gives her the time of day after that! Obviously he's not doing his thinking with his head. Hmmm, do I see some butt-grabbing going on? I think I do!

Trust me, this lady is not as classy as she wants us all to think she is.

Remember me, Denaro the Neglected? Yeah, I didn't think you would. This summer my life has gotten so crazy, it almost makes me nostalgic for last year, life was pretty normal.

First of all, my Mom has gotten all weird on us. She's taken a job as an Exorcist, of all things, and is always at the cemetery, crying about her late father, Robert.

I had never seen my mother cry over anything but money before.

She brought home this creepy looking thing from work, and mumbled that when she knew enough she would use it to bring back my grandfather. Yeah, told ya she was weird.

The scary thing is I think she really believes she can do it! She's always studying and reading, more neglectful than she was before, if that's possible.

Another failure in my life is James, our butler. He's pretty much useless, I have to admit.

And speaking of useless; topping that list would be my father's famous Sim Safety Burglar Alarm.

The "alarm" never went off, it's a good thing Dad is such a light sleeper.

Atleast the RRPD does their job right, they arrested the perpetrator and were on their way back to jail within minutes.

But trust me, my life still stinks!!!

My brother Franc grew up and seems to be as big of a buffoon as our father. They both overheated in this beautiful summer weather, I mean, hello, get a drink of water!

Oh yeah, I grew up too.

The first thing I did was give James a big tip. He may not be the most attentive butler, but he's still my only friend. If I've learned anything from my fortune-minded parents it's that money buys everything.

Oh, and the epitome of my horrendous summer?

Needless to say, I won't be going near that telescope again. I just can't wait until I'm old enough to escape this place and go to college. My life has to get better there!

That's me, Denaro the Neglected. Growing up in my pajamas in the bedroom. Daddy came running to see me at the last minute. Mom was nowhere to be found, as usual.

As soon as I could, I ran outside to show James. James loves me. I might marry James, one day.

For some unexplained reason, Mom likes playing with Franc. Atleast playing with him more than she does with me. Which isn't saying much, really.

Even though we're twins, I grew up alone, and Franc got a party.

I know my sister Denaro thinks she's neglected and all, but she has the same benefits that I do. I mean, I'm a pleasure sim for crying out loud. Mom got us into that creepy Faulkner Academy for Denaro, not for me.

Although I do appreciate the cute girls she brings home with her these days. Fame Marsh is really sweet, she just isn't my type. No chemistry, if you know what I mean.

Denaro really isn't big on making friends at all, she much prefers to be alone, playing her music and studying. She studies all the time.

She obviously gets that from our parents. She fits in here better than she realizes. Better than I do, anyway. Dad is always working, offering financial advice, sometimes all night long.

I try to be a good all-around student, to fit in at that fancy private school, I just have a hard time focusing.

Denaro though, she's disciplined. I'm really impressed, she's just so mean and grumpy that I've never told her. Heck, I was hoping some of her would rub off on me, but she won't even give me the time of day now that we're older. And she says I'm the snob?

I met this nice girl, Andrea, and we hit it off immediately. I know my parents won't want us getting serious, she's from the public school, after all. But I really like her.

In fact, I like her a lot. She's heading off to college soon, and I hope to follow her. Then I can see her whenever I want, and my parents can't say anything about it!

And then look at our parents. My Mom and Dad are the evilest witches in Rainbow Ridge. The only witches, right now, but I plan to change that as soon as I'm old enough.

Because how cool does this look?

I just had my birthday, so now I can start getting ready. I want to learn everything about becoming a witch!

But first, befriend the enemy! Er, I mean, my sister.

And befriend cousin Carl too! Befriend the world! I'm the nicest sim in the whole neighborhood after all!

This? This is my sickeningly sweet sister, Sabrina.

And this is me. Selene. Nothing sweet about me!

Even in a family as unconventional as mine, I don't fit in. I know I don't really belong here, my real people are far, far away. Where I wish I was.

Although sometimes I have to pretend to fit in. And I have to admit, gossipping about Grandpa Michael can be fun!

But I still only pretend to like my sister's stupid showing off. Stupid head stands.

I really do kinda like my Uncle Dick. He's fun to argue with. As if he knows more about magic and stuff than me!

My "parents" are pretty cool. Not when they're being mushy though, but when they act all evil and cackle, I love that!

Left on his own though, my Dad is just weird. And like I said, that's saying a lot, in this family.

It's awesome when he casts a spell though!

He's so lucky! How many people can put a spell on their step-mothers, and make them cluck like a chicken?! Man, I can't wait to grow up and be just like my Dad!

Oooooh, being a teenager is marvelous! For an extremely nice family sim, what could be better than getting my first kiss? I met Carl Jung at school, but our parents have been acquaintances for years. I heard that his Mom, Tricia, actually had a crush on my Dad back in the day. How funny is that?!

They live in an old farmhouse outside of town, but it's a really friendly place. I feel very comfortable there, and so does Carl, obviously. The Jung's aren't exactly strict on their kid's dating standards.

My home may be a mansion, but I still just do regular things, like play video games. I like to just let my mind rot that way, once in a while.

I also enjoy my yard, where I can bake in the sun and get dried up skin to ensure wrinkles when I'm older. Nothing says happy homemaker family sim like wrinkles at 25!

Can't forget my mad diving skillz.

But being an only child of famous parents can be lonely as heck! One afternoon Carl's sister Andrea was over, and she suggested I have a pool party!

So I invited a bunch of private school kids over, and we had a blast! Denaro Fairchild, Selene and Sabrina Mullins, and of course Andrea were the first to arrive.

And really, how many kids have their back yard pool parties catered by a famous TV chef? Mine just happens to be my Mom.

She's so cool, too. She's not one of those moms that are soooo embarassing to have around. You know the kind.

I had my smustle on all night!

My cousin Emily and I were still dancing the next morning while waiting for the school bus. Life is good.

Now if only the paparazzi would leave my parents alone, life would be perfect.

I don't care what everyone says about my Dad! We're just a regular family, and we're all very happy and normal. We are!

Whenever they can, my parents spend all their time together. They're very romantic. I think it's cute.

They even play together!

And I'm just a normal kid. I get good grades because I work hard, not because my Daddy's famous.

See, perfectly normal.

Although I don't wan't to always be normal!! I want to be famous too, some day.

Now that my Mom is a Celebrity Chef, she'll probably be getting her very own television show. Which is cool with me.

I may have to think of hiring body guards soon though...You know how that paparazzi is, going through peoples trash and stuff. My inner thoughts are very private. No one is allowed to read my journal! These thoughts are for my eyes only. Or are they...

I have to admit, college life started out a real drag. I lived with a bunch of pigs in a crowded dorm. Ick!

Once I joined Rho Rho Upsilon, I thought things would be more exciting. Burning the house down was not the kind of excitement I was looking for.

So I decided to break free of my inhibitions and just let loose! Have some fun, you know?

Well that got me some attention, for a little while. I got into the Secret Society. Lots of cute boys there!

Like this one, Andrez Shibata. Turns out he lived in my dorm too, but he didn't pay any attention to me before. I got to know him a little better at the SS house, but we didn't get close enough for me.

So, back at the Greek House, I decided to use the lamp that's been lying around for ages. No one else was, so why not? I wished for beauty. I crossed my fingers and called Andrez over.

Obviously it worked! Now that I've had him however, I'm not interested anymore. The world is full of eligible sims, and I plan to conquer them all!

It seems like it was just yesterday when I was part of a (not very) happy family. Mom would get up every day and burn us breakfast, Emily would get everyone's undivided attention, my parents would dirty dance in front of the Headmaster...Yeah, what was I saying?

But I do miss my Mom, she was too young to die. My Dad doesn't know what to do without her, now he's old and all he does is talk on the phone to virtual strangers. It's pathetic.

Back in highschool I dated Sabrina a bit. And her sister, Selene. And a few other girls, too. Selene got left in the dust when we all went to University without her, it wasn't her fault, but that's the way the ball bounces. Or something. Anyway, women came and went throughout my college years. Most of them, anyway. Sabrina just wouldn't leave. She moved in with us after graduation, and her butt pretty much grew to our couch.

Honestly, we didn't like to take her out much. She couldn't handle her "juice" very well, and she could be so embarassing.

One day she caught me at an awkward moment and proposed to me. I was kind of in shock. And heck, she wasn't gonna leave on her own anyway, so I shrugged. She took that as a yes.

My Dad was so happy to have something fun to look forward to, he planned the wedding right away. In the front yard. With no chairs, no cake. I'm not quite sure how much "planning" he actually did, come to think of it.

But anyway, all my aunts came, Sabrina's parents came, yada yada yada...

Then onto the good stuff. Good girl Sabrina wasn't giving me any until the wedding night, so I couldn't wait!

Little did I know I wouldn't be getting any more for quite a while after that. Sigh.

Did I mention my wife was embarassing? Atleast these days she keeps her Risky Business dancing at home, for only myself, my sister Emily, her boyfriends, my Dad, his workfriends...Oh sh*t.

As a Knowledge sim, I guess I should be atleast minutely interested in what my genetics could turn out in the form of a child, but so far, I'm not. My Dad is ecstatic though, he's a Family sim, just like my wife. World, meet my son, Zuri. I'm not sure who he looks like yet, but I'm assured he will be "adorable."

Dear Dad: Why didn't you tell me about this so called "Secret" Society at RRU? And don't play dumb with me, your old college picture is still up on the wall there! It was a piece of cake getting in, you just have to know the right people, I guess.

I wish the rest of my life was so easy. I'm not talking about the schoolwork, either. That's rough, but nothing like finding the right girl has turned out to be.

I really liked Helga, back in high school, remember? But she's always had her eye on some old guy, so I moved on. I fell hard for Selene and her sister Sabrina. They're both so hot, and so different from each other. But Sabrina is two years older, and is in my Greek House, so the decision was kind of made for me.

It's not as if it's a hardship, Sabrina and I have a lot in common. We both enjoy fitness, and go jogging every night together. I just miss that spark I had with Selene. But she's still in high school, and I'm a man now. I have needs, you know?

And besides, it's like the plans have already been laid. Sabrina has been trying to hone up on her domestic skills. She's learning to cook, and has even taken up sewing, like Mom. I guess we'll both be coming home together after graduation. Looks like we'll have a full house again.

Hey, I'm not complaining. Not really. Sabrina is a cool chick. And she's hot. I just don't think she's the only chick out there. I guess time will tell.

Wow, has a lot happened in my life since last winter! First and foremost, I discovered girls. Helga Menon came home from school with me, I liked her right away, but we've decided to just stay friends.

But one afternoon my parent's old college buddies showed up. Joshua and Shelley are pretty weird, but their daughters are hot.

I was immediately drawn to Sabrina, she's so sweet, and beautiful. I had to admire her, I just couldn't help myself!

But once I got to know her sister Selene better, I found she and I had a lot in common. She turned out to be pretty cool, too. I figured before I got in too deep, I'd let Sabrina know that I wanted to date her sister. I figured she'd understand.

But when I tried to tell her, she just quietly held my hand, and before I knew it, we had serious crushes on each other. Now I'm more confused than ever.

I haven't had much time to mull it over though. Later that same evening...

From out of the sky came a...spaceship?

I was told it lifted me up and snatched me away, but thankfully I don't remember any of it!

My parents had the good grace to be concerned, at least.

But not my twin sister Emily. She can't stand not being the center of attention, she couldn't believe they wouldn't rather have taken her, instead of me.

I don't know how much time passed, but they unceremoniously dropped me out of the sky and plopped me on my lawn. My dad was pretty excited, said I could probably get some scholarship funds out of the whole thing. But I'm more worried about my love life. I'd like to get that in order because I'll be heading off to college soon. Being a teenager is hard!

Why Being in my Family Stinks, by Emem Ngai. Let me start by saying, Christmas bites. The music is awful...

My Mom, the wonderful family sim that never pays attention to us, insists on inviting all her sisters over for a dumb party...

My twin, Emily is the only child asked to be photographed. No surprise there.

Mom actually does something right for once, and serves Christmas cookies at the party...

But since the cookies were the only refreshments served, they were gobbled down quickly by everyone.

And when Santa showed up they were all gone!!

So, needless to say, we ended up with a lump of coal, instead of a cool remote control car, like my cousins got.

To top the whole thing off, my parents made fools of themselves, dancing to their oldies music, right in front of everyone. Ick.

Thankfully, my sister and I had an uneventful birthday shortly after the whole Christmas fiasco. Everything comes easily for Emily. She rolled Romance, and I had to go and roll Knowledge. Homework is hard!!

Millie Randolph is a member of the Town Council, with a seat in the Entertainment industry, as our first Prestidigitator, and is also a member of the Lonely Hearts Club. Daniel Pederson has had his share of press time, both as a Mayoral candidate and as the topic of a very public scandal. His stories can be read about here and here. Rainbow Ridge is also home to Contessa Maureen McKee and her fiance, Count Leonid Guevera. Maureen owns an Irish Pub, The Slaughtered Lamb, and they are both active members of The Creature Club. How I play...

I first want to say I have been inspired by many awesome sims
blogs, and recently I discovered the Sim to Sim sites out there.
I have kind of made my Prosperity Hood into a Sim City Society
type game.

(In my own head atleast!)

I am meticulously keeping records of each sim as soon as they
are born, I play in 3 "year" rotations, (days of the week in game)
and I imagine each family is played for a 2 month time period.
Confusing? Yup, a little!

I have 18 families I play now, including a University round.
Each family is played for two "months"so I can change the seasons
with each family more often.

For example, if I'm on Year 3016-3018, which is one rotation,
I will play one family for three days, marking September and
October. This family will celebrate these holidays (or not) for the
first year. Six families get played in each year, so at the end of 3
days play for each house in the neighborhood I assume/imagine
everyone has aged 3 years.

Sounds more complicated than it is, but I have it all figured
out in my head! I am just neurotic about aging up cousins that
were born on the same day, and occasionally celebrating wedding
anniversaries and such.

I'm a geek, who knew? LOL
I have dozens of spreadsheets just to prove what a dork I am,
because I don't use hacks to keep them the same age or in the
correct season.

If I mess up or miscalculate (or move someone into a different
home) I just use the ingame weather machine or the sethour
cheat. Every round also begins at 7 am, but I'm not so neurotic
if something good is happening I'll go a little longer.

So, for example, 7 am Tuesday would begin Year 3016, Wednesday
7 am would begin Year 3017 and Thursday would begin Year 3018.
I would begin each home at 7 am Tuesday, and end the round on
Friday 7 am.

I keep track of this with good old pen and paper, because it changes
so much. I figure out ages at the end of the last round, and how old each
sim should be at the beginning of the next one.

Sorry for being so long winded, it helps me to write this stuff down
too! I am working on figuring out which grade and age I want each
sim to appear tobe in, so I'm still fine tuning that. I know it doesn't
all correlate perfectly time-wise, but it's fun for me and that's all
that matters, right?

Also, I am intending to start rolling for a Random Occurence every
other round, I think. I may break it up into General and Extreme
Occurences, because I enjoy having some that really shake the game
up sometimes. ;)

ETA: I am actually going to attempt keeping score from here on out, as of the end of Year 3015, I have 50 sims, 4 are deceased. The neighborhood net worth totals over $800,000. I have managed to get two IW, 5 sims graduated Summa Cum Laude, 3 shrink visits, one BSOC, one college dropout and one use of the Renu Yu Orb thingy. According to my calculations (50 + 8 + 6 + 5 - 3 + 1 - 1 - 5) I have 61 points. :)

ETA: Ok, as of Year 3019, I have 7 more sims, 4 top of career's, and minus 1 for sim losing a job due to work performance (stupid vampires!) So, the newest total is 71 points.

ETA: At the end of Round 13, end of year 3023, I have 4 more sims, and 2 top of career's. No minuses that I can remember! So, 77 points now.

ETA: At the end of Round 14, end of year 3027, I have 4 more births, (Lina, Susannah, Piper and Adley), plus 2 more new sims from college. (Orlando Bertino and Johnson Zhang. So that's +6. Four TOC's, (Gavin, Lee, Christine and Daniel). +4 more. Plus 3 for 3 platinum sims. Minus one sim due to death. Almost forgot, 3 sims in Uni became Big Sim on Campus, and 7 graduated Summa Cum Laude. 99 points. I think. Heh. I don't feel like figuring out the money just yet. Next time. :)

ETA: At the end of Round 15, end of year 3031, I have two more births, (Zachary and Darren), plus one new sim (Kaylynn). So that's +3. Seven sims reached their TOC (Jessie, Tucker, Maria, Ethan, Belle, Melissa and Karen) +7. Five more sims are platinum, (Maria, Ethan, Belle, Melissa and Karen). So, 15 more points this round, brings me to 114. Go me.

ETA: At the end of Round 16, end of year 3035, my only new points are through new sims. The births of Johnson's twins Babette and Brigette, Jane and Nicholas' son Boyd, Jette and Orlando's daughter Cookie, Dick and Renny's daughter Clarice, and the engagements of Pammy and Helga (to Charles and Richard) bring me 7 more points. The deaths of Sara and Katherine, however, bring me back to 5. So 119 points. OK, another edit. Plus 5 for sims graduating summa cum laude, Millie, Jaden, Carl and Shane all reached their TOC, so that's 4 more. Millie, Jaden and Michael all achieved their LTW's, so that's 3 more. 17 new points brings me to 131. I just realized I haven't been tracking or taking points for hobby plaques, so I will be trying to remember to do that soon. Also, my hood was really messing up, so I had to relocate them all via simpe to a whole new Rainbow Ridge, and I'm working on building up their relationships and friendships all anew. :( Yeah, I can extract them with simpe but any more than that scares and confuses me, hehe. I've been doing it the old-fashioned way, ie the looooong way. *shrugs* Not that anyone pays attention anyway, but my census' and other 'hood information may not be as exact as it was. No biggie. :)
