A Brief History...

Emily Marsh moved to Rainbow Ridge with her new family. She had grown up in “the System” and wanted to give a good home to children like herself. She adopted four girls and raised them on Rainbow Ridge Drive, the first populated street in Rainbow Ridge. Emily fell in love with local elder Thomas Mullins, and the two had a short affair, which ended with Emily’s unexpected demise. Unfortunately Emily passed away during a kitchen fire mishap. The girls were teens then and soon after their mother passed away they applied for various scholarships and moved to Rainbow Ridge University. Sara, Lee, Hannah and Christine all managed to join both the Secret Society and Rho Rho Upsilon Greek House, and all graduated with honors. Most of them met and fell in love with their significant others in college, as well.

Michael Mullins was a handsome widower who moved to Rainbow Ridge with his father and four children. All Michael ever wanted was a family, so soon after he settled down he looked all over town for a potential wife. He soon met and fell in love with the town Diva, Karen, not what everyone expected from quiet Michael. His fortune oriented father also eventually married a beautiful red headed Diva, Katherine, but sadly he passed away shortly after the wedding. Michael’s children Susie, Tricia and Joshua have grown up, graduated college, and gotten married, while teenage Kevin is preparing to do the same. He had twins Dick and Jane with Karen, and they are children still living at home. Michael recently purchased Tot’s Toys, a small toy store in town, and Katherine is currently running The Diva’s Café. Unfortunately, Karen has an insatiable thirst for money, and has taken to running with the wrong crowd, currently acting as their Getaway Driver.

Maria and Robert Randolph were happily married for a short time. However, Robert’s roving eye was eventually the downfall of their relationship. Maria and two of her girls, Pammy and Millie moved out, while Robert kept custody of Jessie. Maria eventually moved on and married “Mr. Big” Daniel Pederson who introduced her to the finer things in life, like traveling. Pammy is a happily married and pregnant sim, while Millie intends to stay single forever. Jessie refused contact with both of her parents, turning to her love of money for comfort. Robert also got remarried, after falling for hard-working family oriented Christy Stratton, with whom he had twin daughters, Keesha and Renny. After he passed away from old age, Christy and her school aged girls moved out of the house on Rainbow Way, and into a new apartment complex in town. Strangely enough, her new neighbors happen to be Daniel and Maria, who decided their huge home was too depressing with no children in it. Daniel is working his way up the political career track, hoping to become Rainbow Ridge’s very first mayor!

John Boyd arrived in Rainbow Ridge under mysterious circumstances and with his three children, teens Ethan and Nicholas, and toddler Shelley. No mention of the children’s mother was ever made. John is a die hard romancer, who has wooed half the town. He mistakenly got townie Melissa Fancy pregnant, but he moved her in and vowed to raise the child with her. Little Jaden is often neglected and left to fend for himself, due to his father’s short attention span and his mother’s obvious drug abuse. Ethan, Nicholas and Shelley are all grown now, beginning their lives with families of their own. Shelley has turned to the dark side, becoming an Evil Witch, and has recently taught the mysterious ways to her new husband, Joshua Mullins. The witchy couple are the first in Rainbow Ridge to marry another child of the original founders. Everyone else has matched up with townies or NPC’s.

Rainbow Ridge has had quite a few new immigrants in the small amount of years it’s been a working neighborhood. In addition to the various college students the “Originals” have brought home and settled down with, there has also been a couple of Vampires seen around town. Rebellious Millie Randolph befriended a beautiful red headed Irish vampire named Contessa Maureen McKee. Maureen appears to have some evil plans for Rainbow Ridge residents, and has recently moved in her new flame, Count Leonid.
